Offshore Fishing in a Word Good
Offshore Fishing Hot Spot Oregon Inlet Offshore for good catches of dolphin, a few yellowfin tuna (including a 83 pounder) and a 134 pound bigeye tuna. Also several billfish were caught/released (blue and white marlin).
Ocracoke OffShore Fleet Dolphin, wahoo and tuna (over the last few days).
Hatteras OffShore Fleet Good catches of dolphin and a few blackfin tuna. Also at least 7 billfish were caught/released (2 - blue marlin and 5 - sailfish).
Oregon Inlet OffShore Fleet Good catches of dolphin, a few yellowfin tuna (including a 83 pounder) and a 134 pound bigeye tuna. Also several billfish were caught/released (blue and white marlin).
Broad Creek OffShore Fleet No report.
Pirates Cove OffShore Fleet Dolphin. Also several white marlin were caught/released.

Inshore Fishing Hot Spot Hatteras Inshore for good catches of spanish mackerel/bluefish. Also a 77 pound cobia was caught.
Ocracoke InShore Fleet spanish mackerel, large bluefish, a few large red drum, keeper flounder, and a couple of cobia (over the last few days).
Hatteras InShore Fleet Good catches of spanish mackerel/bluefish. Also a 77 pound cobia was caught.
